Emily Sudlow

Emily Sudlow is known for her hazy, sun-washed images of women, captured through the female gaze.

Working primarily on 35mm film, she favours natural light, soft movement, and a Mediterranean-toned palette.

Her photography moves fluidly between fashion and documentary, defined by instinctive, softly observed portraiture AND AN intimate attention to skin, texture, and environment. The result is a body of work that feels at once nostalgic and quietly contemporary.

Based between Sydney and Los Angeles.
